Free Solo in the Mont Blanc Range, France
Free soloing is the most dangerous type of highlining. You don’t have any safety protection. If you fall, that’s it. You’re going to die. It’s extremely risky, but I’m sure the thrill of doing it is worth it. I’ve never done it, yet, so I don’t know how it feels, but I have a lot of respect for the people that can do it. They believe in themselves and their abilities.
There aren’t many skills that allow you to risk your life, based on your abilities. I suppose a bowler could bet a hitman that he will make a strike, get a turkey, or bowl a 300. If you involve a hitman, you could bet your life on anything, but it’s just not the same. The hitman is able to not kill you, however, gravity is 100% sure to never give you mercy.
So far, nobody has died, while attempting free solos, thankfully. I hope it doesn’t become a crime, before I get to do it.
With a short amount of looking, I couldn’t figure out who did this. If anybody knows, please comment and I will add in some proper recognition.
One of the most intense moment I ever had to watch.L'un des moments les plus intense que j'ai pu observer.More images: Like Seb Montaz Studio Location: Aiguille du Grépon, Mont Blanc range. France
